The Solemnity of Corpus Christi took place in St. Catherine’s with its usual grandeur. After having celebrated the Feast itself in their respective chapels, the faithful from Toronto, New Hamburg and Orillia joined those of St. Catharines on the following Sunday to give to the Most Blessed Sacrament Its due honour.

A Gift To The Church: Ordinations in Winona

On June 3, Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, nine deacons and seven priests were ordained by Bishop Alfonso de Galarreta at the Seminary of Winona MN, one of the six seminaries of the SSPX.

The SSPX is a work of the Church founded by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre to preserve and transmit the Catholic priesthood.

Fr. Pfluger Visits Winnipeg: Keep the Faith

Rev. Fr. Pfluger, first Assistant to His Excellency Bishop Bernard Fellay, Superior General of the Priestly Society of St. Pius X (SSPX), was in Winnipeg Manitoba at the end of May for a two day visit, on the occasion of the Solemnity of Corpus Christi. Our faithful from Winnipeg were joined by some from our missions from Welwyn SK and Dryden ON, to attend the celebrations that culminated on Sunday morning with a Solemn High Mass followed by a public procession of the Blessed Sacrament through the streets of Winnipeg.
